Free Truth, Free Assange

Initially arrested and held in solitary confinement, then kept under house arrest without charge since December 2010, Assange is overdue for a hearing on the charges launched against him by U.S. puppet Sweden.  The superficial allegations are for a minor sexual he-said-she-said pretext.  Persecution of Assange and his truth-telling Wikileaks organization is retribution by the U.S. for embarrassing revelations of its war crimes.

Murder by Culture of Fear?

Every government program, escalating tyranny and harsh enforcement is "justified" by "news" shrieking of terrors and the need for more regulations, surveillance, and weaponry. Zimmerman is just one example of unintended consequences of escalating public hysteria:

Exciting, Joyful History of Ideas

As told by an inspired storyteller, written in 1943 when America was still a beacon of freedom to much of the world. My illustration for the 1984 reprint by Laissez Faire Books:

Peace, Liberty, Love

In this series I offer symbols uniting peace and liberty, since there is no liberty without peace, no peace without liberty.
The classic Peace sign, without its link to Liberty, became trivialized in popular culture; and sadly, there is no popular Liberty symbol. This project offers variations of a Liberty symbol linked with a freshened Peace design.

The NonAgression Principle, key to libertarianism, incorporates the unity of peace and liberty. And evolving libertarian theory accepts the logical extension of Love (or at least Good Will) so diverse individuals can live and cooperate in harmony.

Libertarian Toolbox

The libertarian toolbox holds no ordinary political tools. No force, no bullying, no fraud, no aggression. But it overflows with powerful peaceful tools.

Greenwashed Marxism

Despite economic failures, violence, authoritarianism, and even democide of Marxist regimes over the past century, some people still believe in an idealized version of his ideology. Many call for collectivized economies run by big, centralized states, coercive redistribution of resources, etc. This little graphic spoofs attempts to greenwash Marx as a sensitive humanitarian.

Sissyphus & Everyday Heroes

From ancient Sisyphus, humans were cursed by gods or governments to toil unceasingly to build empires the world over. Sisyphus sees little of the beauty all around him. But it's there for each individual who wakens from the authoritarian spell that binds bodies and minds.

Protest HOWL

Dedicated to the antiwar movement that was...and to the guardians of liberty that surrendered.

Tearful Liberty

I sketched this image in the 1960s during the Vietnam War protests. Sadly uniforms, brutality, and weapons of some police personnel have become more militaristic in following decades. Those who fail to uphold citizen rights of peaceable assembly and speech are offset by a growing number of awakened and enlightened sheriffs and police who maintain their oaths to uphold Constitutional guarantees.

Cartoon: U.S. Tapeworm Economy

This drawing was inspired by a quote from Catherine Austin Fits, about the U.S. economy... "That's an economy with two classes of players, the insiders & the outsiders. The insiders are constantly subsidized at the expense of the outsiders, like a tapeworm, a parasite that eats through the body. The parasites engineer the economy to drain it for their benefit, consolidating wealth & economic power by liquidating wealth, people, environment, & economic productivity, all to fatten the Tapeworm."
